Federal Government Declares Public Holiday
The federal government has declared December 24, 25, 26 as public holidays .

This is to enable the Muslim in the country observe the Mawlud Nabiyy while the Christians observe the Christmas and Boxing day festivities. January 1, 2016 has also been announced as public holiday for the new year celebration.
During the break, Nigerians are expected to spend sometime with their family and friends and also likely go on vacation.
