Remita:How To Pay Your School Fees on Remita 

 

The National Open University Of Nigeria(NOUN) as part of the Federal Government Of Nigeria Organization as change the payment system of the school, following the New "One Account" Policy of President Muhammodu Buhari to ensure the monitoring of TO and FRO of funds in the country.

This New Payment System is  REMITA 

How to pay on Remita

• Firstly; Go to the school site i.e www.nou.edu.ng
• Login to your EduPortal with your matric number and password
• click on "make payment on Remita"  

 

• Enter the Amount you want to pay

•  click on "Generate Remita Payment Reference(RRR)"

 

•  Copy the RRR number that is generated for you i.e (Your payment reference no is:)
•  Then go to any bank,fill the teller and write the RRR number and your matric number at the top
•  Fill the   Account Name as - National Open University Of Nigeria 
• Depositor's Name as your full name as it is on your school portal 
• Then fill the amount you want to pay.

 

Note: 

• The RRR number changes  i.e you can only use a Generated RRR number to  pay  once.
• Then you must make sure the  amount on your teller is the same as the one  you wrote on your portal when Generating the RRR number
• Make sure your matric number is correct 
• And Make sure the RRR number you write on the teller is correct.

So that is how to pay school fees on Remita,so you have to repeat this procedures each time you want to pay your school fees.Thank you
