Chelsea players have reacted to the sacking of their manager, Jose Mourinho, just  seven months after lifting the English Premier League winners’ trophy.
The  players of the club, in a swift reaction to their manager’s exit, either took to the social media to express their disappointment or stormed out of the club’s training ground after the news was made public.

  • Cesc Fabregas was the first Chelsea star to stick his head above the parapet and pay tribute to Jose Murionho once news of  his sacking broke on Thursday.
The Spanish midfielder, who has been widely criticised for his loss of form this season, posted a message on Twitter just two hours after the club confirmed Mourinho's departure.
Fabregas posted an image of the pair hugging at last season's Premier League title celebrations, along with the message: 'Thank you for all you have done for me. "I owe you a lot and we will all miss you. Good luck in the future".
